Tridium Named to M2M Magazine?s M2M 100 for the Sixth Consecutive Year

RICHMOND, VIRGINIA, December 2, 2009 - Tridium Inc. today announced that it has been selected to M2M Magazine’s annual “M2M 100” for 2010. This represents the sixth consecutive year the company has been recognized and places it in an elite category; the company has been included on this list since it was first published and is one of only a few who have been selected since the list was first introduced.

The M2M 100 is the most influential ranking of the companies that offer technology solutions within the global marketplace for machine-to-machine solutions. By being selected, Tridium is recognized as one of the most important and influential technology providers in the machine-to-machine segment.

The M2M 100 is compiled from a list of more than 300 companies gathered from various sources. The editorial team at M2M magazine, along with its editorial advisory board, researches and analyzes the collected data, deciding which 100 companies will be named. Some of the criteria for selection include strength and number of customer references; establishment in the market; growth potential; and active involvement in and support for the M2M community.

“The M2M 100 represents the leaders in a rapidly changing marketplace, especially as machine-to-machine extends its reach into B2B, and now B2C,” says Peggy Smedley, editorial director, M2M magazine. “Right now, we are witnessing the evolution of this industry, and the 100 companies named are the face of the market today as well as what we see in the future.”

“We are truly honored to be recognized again by M2M Magazine and the M2M 100”, said Marc Petock, Tridium’s Vice President Global Marketing and Communications. “This recognition shows that the Niagara and Sedona Frameworks continue to enable and deliver machine-to-machine solutions and that our technologies play an important part in this segment sector.”
